The Manaira Shopping is the largest shopping and entertainment center of Paraíba. Located in a privileged area in the city of Joao Pessoa, in the neighborhood of Manaira, offers a varied choice of stores for shopping, a food court consisting of restaurants of national and international cuisine, beyond a large recreation area and service options that make your life easier. All of this allied with comfort and safety.

Opened in the year of 1989, the Manaira Shopping pioneered in the city in all aspects. It was the first Shopping Center of the state and also the first one to operate on Sundays and holidays. It innovate giving away ten cars at once, when completed 10 years of existence. Since then, the mall has not stopped to grow. And now that celebrates 20 years of operation, they will give away 20 cars randomly to their customers.

The mall went through four major extensions: 1993, 1997, 2002 and, most recently in 2007 when it became the second largest shopping center in the Northeast of the country. These constant changes are able to provide better benefits for the customers.

Today, the Manaira Shopping is composed of more than 260 stores with a mix of the best and most complete products in the country. Here can be found brands of national and international reputation and anchor stores such as Riachuelo, Thiago Sport, Marisa, C&A, Box Cinemas, RI Happy, Mega Store Centauro, Insinuante, Lojas Americanas, Renner, Jurandir Pires and Eletroshopping. In addition, its modern Food Court offers a many meal options that goes from fast-food to a fancy meal.

The leisure area, with over 10 thousand square meters, consists of eight cinema rooms from the Box Cinemas complex, Prodigio gym, the Gold Strike Bowling, an electronic game room, Game Station and the recreation area with toys and fun games, the Pirlimpimpim, which also works as a buffet for social events.

Manaira Shopping hosts a university, The FESP College offering degree in law, post-graduate courses and preparation for governmental tests. It is also where runs the University for the Third Age people, an environment dedicated to the senior citizens that offers the prospect of continuing education requirements enabling them to find new ways of re-inclusion in the society and full citizenship.
